The Magnolia Family Dental Team
Lindy, Dental Hygienist
Lindy is a native of St Louis, Mo. In fact, she used to walk up to our plaza, Green Tree Center, as a child with her sisters and friends to go to Dairy Queen (which is Oberweis now). She enjoys her time with her husband and two boys. They enjoy spending their time hiking and exploring, game nights and just being together. Lindy’s passion for the dental field started when she went to Missouri College in 1989 where she earned her dental assisting certification. She also has earned her certification in expanded functions dental assisting during her years as an assistant. Lindy furthered her dental education when she went back to earn her Dental Hygiene license from St Louis Community College at Forest Park in 2015. She is licensed in infiltration anesthesia, block anesthesia, nitrous oxide administration and certified in laser and oral sedation dentistry as well as CPR. Lindy joined our Magnolia team in January 2023. She enjoys getting to know her patients and educating them to achieve goals of overall health with oral hygiene being part of that process. Lindy loves when patients become comfortable and enjoy coming into the office.
Diane, Dental Hygienist
Diane was born in St Louis and has never left. She spends every weekend with her best friend Jim at their farm. She loves the outdoors, but also enjoys her time indoors creating greeting cards and jewelry. Diane joined our team in 2008 as a temporary hygienist and then became a permanent part time team member in October 2019. She graduated with an Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene in 1989 and later returned to earn her degree in Applied Science as a Registered Nurse. Diane is licensed in local and block anesthesia, along with nitrous oxide administration and CPR. She took a break from full time hygiene and worked two days a week when she was asked to be an examiner as part of a NIH study on Periodontal Disease. Diane did this three days a week and was part of the team that included other examiners from Harvard and NYU. The study lasted for 3 1/2 yrs. She saw this as an opportunity that she could use both her dental hygiene and nursing education and could not say no. Diane strives to make every dental appointment a pleasant experience and shows compassion with all of her patients.
